Concrete Finisher Laborer

Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as forming and finishing concrete
Support heavy equipment operation and concrete pumping activities under supervision
Mix and pour concrete, install rebar, and perform concrete finishing to ensure durable structures
Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and execute tasks accurately
Install various building components such as post brackets, wet sets, etc
Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for prep, pour, and finishing on new construction and renovation projects
Support masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, and caulking for weatherproofing
Assist with demolition or removal of old materials during renovation or restoration projects
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure construction environment
Experience
Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades preferred but not required; training provided for motivated individuals
Familiarity with construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic blueprint reading is advantageous
Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in carpentry, masonry, welding, or other specialized trades
Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site transportation is beneficial but not mandatory
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments on diverse construction projects
