Responsibilities
As a Compounder, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and measuring ingredients using scales, mixing various components, and identifying and melting solids using hot plates
You will also be responsible for identifying ingredients that require dilution, conducting in-process batch inspections, and following detailed procedures to maintain quality standards
Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales
Mix various ingredients and identify solids for melting using hot plates
Dilute ingredients appropriately and record raw materials usage
Verify the weight and contents of raw materials and conduct in-process batch inspections
Document all process events by following established procedures and policies
Process liquid, powders, and utilize homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding
Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances
Check for consistency in batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures
Take samples of batches for laboratory testing
Adhere to food safety guidelines and accurately document work completed
Wear a uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Chemical handling
You will work in a collaborative team environment, engaging with cross-functional teams
The position operates on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
