You will be responsible for delivering compliance assurance reviews in line with the Global Compliance Management Programme and the annual EMAP Compliance Assurance Plan. You will assess risks and controls, carry out testing, report findings clearly, and support the business in driving actions through to resolution.

What you’ll be doing in this role

Deliver assurance reviews end to end

• Define testing approach and review activities for assigned engagements
• Conduct fieldwork, testing, and fact-finding activities with a high standard of accuracy and professionalism
• Maintain robust working papers and clear review documentation

Assess findings and support remediation
• Analyse control effectiveness and identify areas of compliance risk
• Prepare clear, well-structured reports that set out findings, risks, conclusions, and required actions
• Work with business owners and management to agree practical remediation plans
• Track agreed actions through to closure and escalate high-risk issues where appropriate

Support governance and stakeholder engagement
• Use Archer to maintain accurate records and track issues, deliverables, and review progress
• Build a broad understanding of the business and the regulatory environment in which Experian operates
• Engage confidently with stakeholders to support effective management of compliance risk
• Support the business in strengthening controls and addressing issues identified through reviews

Contribute insight from reviews
• Share review insights and recurring themes to support continuous improvement in assurance activity
• Contribute to a consistent, high-quality approach to assurance delivery across the region
• Support the wider Compliance function in meeting its regulatory obligations with a high standard of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment

What we’re looking for

Experience and judgment
• Around 3 years of experience in monitoring, testing, assurance, or audit within regulatory compliance
• Experience working in a substantial regulated organisation, ideally in Financial Services
• Strong analytical capability and sound judgment when assessing complex issues, controls, and risks
• Ability to operate independently while knowing when to escalate

Technical and functional capability
• Good working knowledge of privacy and data protection regulation and its key principles
• Experience delivering assurance or testing reviews and documenting findings clearly
• Strong investigation, analysis, and report-writing skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage work accurately and consistently

Stakeholder and communication strength
• Ability to communicate in a clear, structured, and credible way
• Confidence working with business stakeholders to discuss findings, risks, and actions
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a regional team
