Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor the polycarbonate multiwall sheet extrusion/production machine.
• Set and adjust machine parameters such as temperature, speed, pressure, and cooling as per production requirements.
• Ensure proper feeding of raw materials and maintain continuous production.
• Monitor sheet thickness, width, length, surface finish, color, and overall quality.
• Check and maintain proper cell structure and sheet dimensions.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality and minimize production defects.
• Monitor online production and identify issues such as uneven thickness, scratches, bubbles, warping, or improper bonding.
• Operate cutting, stacking, and packing equipment as required.
• Record production quantities, wastage, downtime, and quality observations accurately.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of the machine.
• Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve operational issues.
• Follow approved SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the production area.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Report machine breakdowns, abnormalities, and quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Support changeovers, trial production, and new product development as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic, Electrical, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience in plastic extrusion, polycarbonate sheet production, or similar extrusion machinery preferred.
• Basic knowledge of extrusion machines, heaters, cooling systems, drives, and control panels.
• Ability to understand and adjust machine operating parameters.
• Good understanding of production and quality requirements.
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle a production environment.
• Physically fit and able to follow safety procedures.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
