The Accounting Finance Department supports the resort’s success by ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Job Summary:
The Junior Staff Accountant at Black Desert Resort assists with daily accounting operations, focusing on data entry, accounts payable and receivable support, reconciliations, and routine reporting tasks. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to grow in the field of hospitality accounting and work closely with the resort’s finance team.

Shift Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.00/hr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry of financial transactions and maintenance of general ledger accounts.
Support accounts payable by matching invoices with purchase orders, verifying vendor information, and preparing payments.
Help process accounts receivable, including billing and reconciling guest charges.
Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounting system reports.
Organize and maintain financial records and documentation.
Support the month-end closing process by preparing standard reports and journal entry drafts.
Provide administrative support to senior accounting staff and assist with internal audits.
Respond to internal department requests and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role; hospitality experience a plus.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and Excel.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and take initiative on assigned tasks.
Willingness to learn and grow within the finance department.
