Our clinicians work collaboratively to provide evidence-based, client-centred care across a range of settings including homes, schools, childcare centres, workplaces, aged care facilities, clinics and within the community. We support participants funded through the NDIS, Medicare, Home Care Packages, private health insurance and private referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' musculoskeletal conditions, medical histories, and specific concerns to determine appropriate treatment approaches, The clients are STRC, home care package clients which will be assessed and referred by the Physiotherapist.
Treatment Planning: Develop customized remedial massage therapy plans tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each client.
Massage Therapy: Administer remedial massage techniques to address muscular tension, injuries, chronic pain, and other related issues effectively.
Manual Therapy: Utilize manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and joint mobilization to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and communication logs.
Client Education: Educate clients on proper posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and self-management techniques to empower them in maintaining optimal health between sessions.
Professionalism: Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to ensure understanding of treatment plans, expectations, and progress, and collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed.
Travel: Travel to clients' locations equipped with necessary supplies, equipment, and documentation to deliver mobile massage therapy services efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:

Certification or diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
Valid license or registration as a massage therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in providing remedial massage therapy, preferably in a mobile or freelance capacity.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
