Position Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced and highly professional Communications Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, on-site role is a Maternity Leave Contract, with the possibility of extension or transition into another role within the company based on performance and organizational needs.

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who can work independently while ensuring all communications reflect and elevate our brand voice. Native English proficiency is essential, as the role requires advanced copywriting and brand communication skills across multiple platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing internal and external communications across various platforms, with a strong emphasis on copywriting, content creation, and strategic coordination.

Salary range:

$50,000 – $60,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities represent key duties of the role, though additional tasks may be assigned as needed:

Write and edit a variety of brand-aligned content for both internal and external audiences, including brochures, catalogs, website copy, email newsletters, articles, and social media posts.
Manage the company’s social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook, creating, scheduling, and publishing content across all platforms.
Analyze social media analytics to inform and refine communication strategies.
Maintain and grow our email newsletter database and segmentation, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
Upload and update web content, including product pages and news articles, ensuring SEO best practices in all web copy (meta descriptions, keyword optimization, etc.)
Assist in public relations efforts, including media outreach and event support.
Coordinate Project Profiles (case studies), from sourcing and organizing to producing and publishing across the website, social media, and marketing materials.
Collaborate with the team on new product launches, including writing product descriptions and SEO meta content.
Oversee the organization of our North American sample tour, including scheduling, communication, logistics tracking, and issue resolution.
Build and maintain relationships with Rep Agencies, European partners, media contacts, and other key stakeholders.
Upload new product data and content to third-party platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Manage projects using our project management platform (Smartsheet), including status updates and team coordination.
Support the naming of new products through research and creative development.
Ensure the accuracy and organization of product application images on our website via our internal system.
Qualifications:

Native English proficiency is required, as the role involves brand-level writing and public-facing communications.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience managing professional social media accounts on Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and Facebook.
Proficiency in content creation platforms such as WordPress, Later, Flodesk, and Canva.
Previous experience working with high-end brands, architectural products, or interior design projects is highly valued.
Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (native English level is required).
Meticulous attention to detail and strong editing abilities.
Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Reliable, self-motivated, and professional in all aspects of work.
