Location: Shropshire & surrounding areas (National travel required) Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per year (Depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing, friendly team. This is a mobile role suited for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their workmanship, and wants to be part of a passionate company that values its people.
The Role
You will be the face of our business across a diverse range of commercial sites, including well-known restaurant chains, retail outlets, and pubs.
Maintenance & Repair: Carrying out planned and reactive commercial gas maintenance.
Variety: While the focus is gas, you’ll assist with general building maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' sites stay operational.
Field-Based: Working across Shropshire and the surrounding regions, with occasional national travel to support our key accounts.
The Person
We are looking for a reliable professional who is "tools-down" ready and possesses:
Qualifications: Valid Commercial Gas ACS tickets (COCN1 / CIGA1 etc.).
Experience: Proven track record in commercial environments.
Versatility: A proactive attitude toward general building maintenance and problem-solving.
Compliance: A full UK Driving Licence and a valid Gas Safe card.
Standards: High standards of health and safety and customer service.
The Package
Competitive Salary: £35k–£50k based on your expertise.
Work-Life Balance: Standard hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (with occasional OOH/weekend work).
