Job Description
Raymond Laboratory/X-ray department is located in the Raymond Health Care Centre and serves the town as well as its surrounding area. Raymond Alberta is located 30 mins from Lethbridge Alberta and 1 hour from the Coutts, Montana border. The Raymond CLXT location is staffed with an experienced team of laboratory and x-ray professionals that offer strong patient focused service to their community. Relocation assistance may be available with a Return of Service Agreement. This vacancy may be eligible for recruitment incentive.
Description:
As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will perform procedures in both the laboratory and in diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites. You will work as a member of the inter-professional team and be responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X-ray examinations, ECGs and reporting results. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, venipuncture and micropuncture, routine equipment maintenance, maintaining supplies and performing quality control procedures as required.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
Additional Required Qualifications:
The successful applicant must have a strong sense of teamwork and possess excellent communication skills. Strong Technical skills and adaptability is imperative in this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent phlebotomy and rural experience are an asset.
