Collections Manager - Canara Bank
Canara Bank is one of the leading public sector banks in India, with a strong presence across the country. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Collections Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about banking and have a strong background in collections.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage the collections process.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the collections team, ensuring targets are met.
- Review and evaluate the creditworthiness of customers to determine appropriate collection strategies.
- Negotiate payment plans with customers to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts.
- Coordinate with legal teams and external agencies for legal actions, if required.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the collections team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to collections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, preferably in the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of collection techniques and best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using collection software and MS Office applications.
