Job Description
Educational Qualification
- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) – Mandatory - MPT Ortho & MPT Neuro
- BPT from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration as applicable.
- Specialization in Orthopaedics, Neurology, Sports, Cardiopulmonary, Critical Care or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy will be preferred.
Experience
- 5–7 years of relevant clinical/hospital experience is mandatory.
- Strong experience in handling both OPD and IPD patients.
- Experience in post-operative rehabilitation, orthopedic, neurological and medical cases will be preferred.
- Previous experience in a reputed hospital/healthcare organization will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and identify patients' functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobilization, stretching and strengthening programs.
- Provide appropriate electrotherapy and other physiotherapy modalities.
- Manage OPD and IPD physiotherapy cases as per clinical requirements.
- Provide post-operative rehabilitation for orthopedic and surgical patients.
- Handle neurological rehabilitation, including stroke and mobility-related conditions.
- Provide respiratory/chest physiotherapy wherever clinically indicated.
- Assist ICU and critical-care patients in coordination with treating consultants.
- Conduct gait training, balance training, mobility training and functional rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding home exercises, posture, precautions and rehabilitation.
- Regularly reassess patients and modify treatment plans according to clinical progress.
- Maintain accurate patient assessment, treatment and progress records.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Ensure safe and appropriate use of physiotherapy equipment.
- Follow hospital infection-control, patient-safety and clinical documentation protocols.
- Participate in physiotherapy camps, awareness programs and hospital health initiatives.
- Guide junior physiotherapists/trainees and support team development when required.
- Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality and high standards of patient care.

Salary/CTC: As per qualification, experience and hospital norms.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
