This position focuses on providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring efficient scheduling, handling communications, and delivering an outstanding customer experience to community members and pet owners
The Clinic Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for visitors, answering inquiries regarding medications, medical procedures, appointments, invoices, and payments
This role demands a compassionate yet professional demeanor, combining administrative expertise with a genuine love for animals
A key component of this job includes managing the clinic's reception desk activities, such as answering incoming calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, processing paperwork, and assisting with the flow of animals through clinic areas
The position also involves applying promotions and discounts, maintaining medical records, handling payments and balancing cash drawers, and overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the clinic's public areas
The receptionist supports the clinic team by relaying important follow-up care instructions and ensuring compliance with agency standard operating procedures for safety and care
This role requires a strong commitment to animal welfare, including the acceptance and understanding of essential practices such as prepubescent sterilization, humane euthanasia, and post-surgery care
