Job Description
About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day claims operations, including claims evaluation, adjudication, and analysis, in accordance with quality state laws
2. Ensure that claims are processed in a timely manner in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations concerning the processing of claims
3. Assist in managing department staff of Claims Examiners for performance, HIPAA compliance, following company policies, distributing work to Claims Examiners, maintaining attendance records, notifying of procedural changes/updates, training, and conducting disciplinary actions
4. Maintain professional working relationships with superiors, peers, subordinates, and other department managers and personnel
5. Prepare, analyze, and distribute various reports, including DWC forms, 5020 forms, incident reports, work status reports, Medical Review letters, Appeals, and other claims-related information/documentation
6. Communicate with employees, HR Manager, and claim adjusters
7. Understand OSHA laws and enter claims in Gensuite, and work on audits for claims
Who can apply
1. Candidate must be available to work from 8:30 pm - 3:30 am Indian Standard Time (as the company is based outside of India & their local work timings are 7:00 am - 2:00 pm Pacific Standard Time)
