The opportunity

Cambrai Early Learning Centre in Engadine, NSW is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Childcare Trainee. This is a full-time role that will provide you with the opportunity to kickstart your career in the dynamic and rewarding field of early childhood education.

As a Childcare Trainee, you will have the chance to learn and grow alongside our experienced educators, while working towards your formal qualifications. Key responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate educational activities for children
Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
Collaborate with the wider team to maintain a clean, organised and stimulating learning environment
Participate in ongoing professional development to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for

A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to undertake formal training to obtain your Childcare qualification
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs
A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
