Job Description:
Candidates should be able to learn the process, systems, and functions of the organisation quickly and be able to execute the objective to perfection.
Candidates who have interest in indirect tax law and to make their career in the field are welcome.
The profile of the candidate would involve day to day GST support from Accounting and Legal perspective considering Compliance, Operations and Litigation, Audit of the Operations and Process management from Tax Perspective and improvise the process management through automation.
Requirements:
Candidates should have the attitude to understand, learn and apply the nuances of Indirect tax law
Candidate must have exposure in Indirect taxes
Excellent in Written & Oral communication Expertise in Microsoft Windows OS & MS Office suite (MS Excel & Power Point) with basic knowledge in SAP modules
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Validation of monthly compliances prepared from the GST perspective and ensure the payments / adjustment of ITC etc are as per the norms
- Collation of details/data by coordinating with various stakeholders of the Company
- Ensuring GST Annual Return preparation for all the Statas (GSTR + and GSTR +C)
- Preparing data/documents for various GST Notices and ensure tallying with financials of the Company
- To analyse and understand the end-to-end business process of various business stream of the Company
- To point out the compliance perspective / compliance parameter in each stage of the identified business process and ensure no deviation from the Compliance perspective on the process followed
- To prepare and provide report periodically to the management / internal audit team on the gaps /deviations addressed
- To identify the manual process and flow carried out presently and to evaluate and push for automation wherever required
