Job Description
We are +5% subsidiary of UK based Chartered Accountancy firm called SKS Business Services Limited
We were trading as Swarup and Associates until the beginning of 2017. The Indian Entity is called Jam & Associates Private Limited till August 2020, then it is SKS Business Services (India) Pvt. Ltd
We have 25 offices in the UK and 17 offices in India. Offices in India are in Jamnagar, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Pune, Nashik, Jaipur, Surat , Ludhiana, Nagpur, Bhopal, Indore, Kota, Jodhpur, Baroda, Udaipur & Agra. And still expanding all across Indian states wherever we are able to meet good candidate requirements.
SKS has 450+ employees in India and over 200 employees in the UK. It employs about 200+ Indian chartered accountants and 15 UK chartered accountants or chartered certified accountants. It is a fast-growing company and requires freshly qualified, highly numerate professionals to join its team.
The Role
You will be responsible for :
• Managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting.
• Driving accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
• Ensuring timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Managing internal and external audit requirements to ensure timely completion of annual statutory audits.
• Ensuring compliance with all legislative tax and financial reporting requirements.
• Developing and leading tax strategy in line with the overall business objectives.
• Managing tax compliance with local tax requirements.
• Developing and leading both tax-savings opportunities and tax solutions through working closely with multiple stakeholders.
• Planning and executing business risk and other audits activities across various business units.
• Preparing, scheduling, planning, executive and reviewing internal audits according to the annual audit plans in conjunction with various stakeholders.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls to address financial, operational, external, and other relevant risks.
• Recommending ways to improve internal controls and governance processes.
• Presenting periodic reports and audit findings to the senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS, INDIA GAAP and UK GAAP.
Ideal Profile
• You have a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance.
• You have at least 1 year experience within a Accounting Manager, Internal Audit or International Tax role, ideally within the Accounting industry.
• Experience within Big 4 and Financial Audit would be a strong advantage.
• You have strong knowledge of IFRS, INDIA GAAP and UK GAAP as well as Sage.
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
