Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience, ensuring they feel valued and supported
Operate cash registers efficiently, handle transactions accurately, and process donations with care
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop floor, ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed
Support inventory management by sorting, pricing, and tagging donated items appropriately
Use IT systems to record sales, update stock levels, and manage donation logs effectively
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly
Assist with administrative tasks such as stock reports, donation records, and shop correspondence to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Basic IT literacy to navigate sales systems and recordkeeping software confidently
Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes or rearranging stock
Enthusiasm for working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail
