Guided by this vision, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join our specialist Perinatal Infant Mental Health (PIMH) Team within Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
About the Opportunity
The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) PIMH team provides a comprehensive parent-infant and family focused service. In this rewarding CNC role, you will provide specialist mental health assessment, intervention, consultation, and care coordination for pregnant women and primary carers of infants up to two years of age experiencing severe and complex mental health concerns.
The goal of this position within the PIMH team is to improve health outcomes for women and their families, by increasing support networks, reducing vulnerabilities and risk factors in the perinatal period. In this role you will:
Deliver specialist evidence-based assessment, intervention, and care coordination for parents, infants, and families experiencing complex perinatal mental health challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to provide coordinated, family-centred care, consultation, and case management.
Provide clinical leadership, supervision, mentoring, and specialist support to staff while promoting evidence-based practice.
Contribute to research, education, service development, quality improvement, and strategic initiatives that strengthen perinatal mental health services.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with relevant postgraduate qualifications and/or minimum 5 years experience in mental health nursing.
Demonstrated experience working with complex mental health presentations within perinatal, infant, child and adolescent, or community mental health settings.
Advanced clinical assessment, risk management, and care coordination skills with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice.
Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision, consultation, and collaborative multidisciplinary care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, family-centred, and recovery-oriented approach to care.
