We’re looking for reliable and flexible Causal Sales Associates (2 positions available) to join our teams at Merchant/Mi Piaci Hamilton stores. You’ll be the face of the Merchant experience – helping customers find their perfect fit, sharing your product knowledge, and bringing positive energy to the shop floor.
Please note that these casual roles will require location movements between our four Hamilton Merchant/Mi Piaci stores in Centreplace, Chartwell, & Te Awa.
Here’s what’s on offer:
Role – Casual Sales Associate
Rostered Hours: Casual role – hours will vary depending on store needs, with flexibility across weekdays & weekends. We are seeking casuals who can be available throughout the weekdays. Please indicate in your CV or cover letter your availability including what hours on each day.
Minimum Hours: N/A
Hourly Rate: $24.00 + bonus potential !
What your day will look like:
Creating warm, memorable experiences for every customer
Reaching your sales goals and contributing to team targets
Maintaining a tidy, well-presented store
Supporting visual merchandising and product displays
Collaborating with your team to create a great vibe in-store
What we are looking for:
Have previous customer service experience (retail, hospitality or similar)
Have flexibility to accept shift requests when needed
Are confident, positive, and solution-focused
Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Have a self-motivated approach to work
Able to be collaborative and work across different teams
Are aligned with our values and excited about our brand
