Come and join us at St Anthony’s Primary school, Melton South. We are a large Catholic Primary school comprising 28 classes across Foundation to year 6.

St. Anthony’s Primary School is committed to building a community of faith, hope and love in the light of Jesus Christ. We implement evidence-based, high-impact practices designed to ensure our students flourish not only within our community but within a world of continual change.

We are seeking passionate, innovative, engaging and suitably qualified individuals to join our casual relief teaching pool. Regular short and medium term assignments are available to commence immediately or subject to your availability.

The successful applicant will:

be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school
have a sound knowledge and understanding of current thinking and research into curriculum, pedagogy and the Victorian Curriculum
possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
have knowledge of evidence based learning
hold a current VIT registration or be in the process of obtaining this
have an understanding of ‘data driven’ teaching
be committed to working collaboratively as part of a team
have an understanding of the AITSL standards and expectations of Professional Teachers
be committed to Child Safety

Applicants must:

understand and support the Catholic ethos and vision of the School, be familiar and comply with all requirements of Child Safety, policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students.
have the right to work in Australia
