Job Description
As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons (2.30pm - 6pm depending on programme requirements) and school holiday programmes (between 7am - 6pm). This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact. Location: sites around Franklin but your default location would be in Drury.
Here’s what you’ll be up to
Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities
Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children
Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing
Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

Qualifications
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
Can get to all of our Franklin district sites without hassle. Therefore, having a vehicle and a valid driver license will be ideal.
Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!
Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
