Job Description
Park Orchards Kindergarten is located in a beautiful bush setting and provides children with opportunities to explore and develop through a play-based program. We have a strong emphasis on supporting and developing relationships between the child, family, staff and the wider community. Our Kindergarten is run by a dedicated Committee of Management. The staff are passionate about the education and care of children with the educational program assessed in 2023 as ‘Exceeding the National Quality Standards’ in all 7 Quality Areas. Park Orchards Kindergarten is a Child Safe Organisation, and we have zero tolerance for child abuse. All employees must adhere to our Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.
We are looking for experienced Diploma or Certificate III (ECEC) Educators to join our team casually at Park Orchards Kindergarten. The successful applicant will be passionate about early childhood education and * have a sound understanding of child development and the VEYLDF/EYLF * have excellent organisational and communication skills with children, families, staff, committee and members of the community * work collaboratively as part of a team * demonstrate knowledge of child-safe practice * conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Kindergarten policies and the Kindergarten Funding Guide * be committed to ongoing professional learning and development
The successful applicant will also hold a Diploma ECEC or Certificate III ECEC and * a current employee Working with Children Check * a current Police Check * current First Aid qualifications (including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management) * current Mandatory Reporting and National Child Safety Training
