Location: Carrum Downs, VIC (On-site only)
Hours: Approx. 10 hours per week (flexible)

Wagalot Pet Treat Company is a proudly Australian-owned manufacturer of premium pet treats, supplying pet stores, supermarkets, veterinary clinics and retailers across Australia.
We're looking for a capable E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant with hands-on experience managing Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Ads and Meta advertising campaigns. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of our digital marketing and help grow both our wholesale and retail brands.
This position would suit a university student with proven experience or someone looking for flexible casual work while building their career in digital marketing.
Please note: This is an on-site position based at our Carrum Downs office. Working from home is not available.
About the Role
Working alongside our management team, you'll help drive online sales, improve our digital presence and develop engaging marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update our Shopify and WooCommerce websites
Create, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns
Manage Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns
Create engaging social media content across multiple platforms
Build and manage email marketing campaigns using Omnisend, GetResponse or similar platforms
Improve SEO and website performance
Upload new products, update content and create promotional landing pages
Analyse website and advertising performance and recommend improvements
Assist with new product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns
Create digital graphics and marketing material using Canva or similar software
Essential Skills & Experience
Applicants must have practical experience with:
Shopify
WooCommerce
Google Ads
Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram)
Omnisend, GetResponse or similar email marketing platforms
Canva or similar graphic design software
Google Analytics
Strong written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Highly Regarded
SEO knowledge and website optimisation
Basic photography and video editing skills
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist with content creation and marketing campaigns
A genuine love of pets!
