Job Title: Sandwich Maker / CashierJob Summary
We are looking for a friendly, dependable Sandwich Maker / Cashier to prepare fresh food items, handle customer transactions, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Greet customers, take orders accurately, and answer menu-related questions
Operate cash register or POS system and handle cash, credit, and digital payments
Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, dining areas, and workstations
Stock ingredients, supplies, and monitor inventory levels
Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines at all times
Handle special orders and dietary requests when possible
Work efficiently with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing inventory effectively.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
A passion for culinary arts and creating quality food products is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
