Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full-Time Cashier and Sales Assistant to join our retail team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service, sales, and technology products. Multilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or product demos are highly valued.
Duties
Operate POS systems efficiently to handle cash, credit, and digital payments with accuracy and professionalism
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selections
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to promote sales and upselling opportunities
Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized presentation of products
Assist customers with technical sales, including explaining product benefits and features
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and balancing cash register at shift end
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor
Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or follow-up calls
Support team members with time management tasks during busy periods
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures required
Ability to perform product demos and technical sales effectively
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with good organizational skills
