Allen Chapman were formed in 1+86 and have grown to be one of the most respected and efficient shop fitting companies in New Zealand. In recent years, we have also completed several high-end residential and hospitality projects. Our workshop and offices are based in Albany on Auckland's North Shore. We boast large, modern manufacturing premises with up to date technology and facilities, including a CNC router, in house spray painting and a resident designer.

We work for a wide spectrum of clients across the board covering residential, hospitality, and basic fit out projects to high end retail and large scale operations. Our aim is to continually be competitive in terms of price and time to completion without compromising our award winning, high standard of workmanship.

We're looking for an experienced and skilled Cabinetmaker with a focus on quality workmanship producing high end products.

Your skills and attributes would include:

Preferably a good understanding of joinery manufacturing and knowledge of retail/commercial shop fitting
Good communication skills, both written and spoken with a willingness to learn new processes
Open to working overtime as required
Ability to read plans with a good technical knowledge of requirements
Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box when needed
Work unsupervised and take ownership of completing own projects
Punctual, organised, reliable and able to work with others in and outside of our team
Clean full Class 1 driver's licence (you many be required to drive company vehicle)
All applicants must be living in and have current eligibility to work in NZ.

Factory hours are based on a 40-hour week but you should be able to work overtime as required. The role has the opportunity for progression for the right person.

Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 3:00pm and Friday, 6:00am to 12:00pm.

This position is for an immediate start however our company shutdown holiday period is from 20/12/24 - 13/01/25.
