We Are Hiring – Carpenter

One of our clients, who builds outback Caravans is currently seeking a Skilled Carpenter with experience in caravan fit-outs and custom interiors. The employer is a reputable caravan manufacturing business based in Melbourne’s northern region, specializing in building high-quality, custom-designed caravans for Australian travellers.

Position: Carpenter (specialised in Caravan Manufacturing)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $+5,000 plus superannuation (subject to review based on skills and performance)
Location: Campbellfield, VIC, 3061

About the Role:

This is an exciting hands-on role for a Carpenter who enjoys detailed, high-quality joinery and fit-out work. You will be working as part of a production team focusing on the internal and external build of caravans, ensuring each product meets high standards of finish and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication and installation of cabinetry, wall linings, flooring, doors, and custom furniture inside caravans.
Fitting and installing internal fixtures such as benches, beds, storage units, and appliances.
Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other materials according to plans and layouts.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production schedules.
Operating hand tools and machinery relevant to caravan manufacturing.
Quality control and finishing to ensure final product meets customer expectations and safety standards.
Requirements:

Minimum Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
At least 3 year of full-time experience in carpentry, with highly experienced in caravan, RV, or modular home fit-outs highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality finishes.
Ability to work from production drawings and follow build schedules.
Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards safety and quality standards.
Full working rights in Australia.
