Job Description
Citycare Property has partnered with the New Zealand Defence Force Facilities Management Services to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa.
Join us in the role of Carpenter, Woodbourne Air Base to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities.
RNZAF Base Woodbourne is located west of Blenheim in the upper South Island and serves as a key training and support base where new recruits complete their initial military training.

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
Constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures ensuring alignment with approved Citycare Property policies, plans and programmes.
Keeping the Team Leader – Trades informed of incidents, risks, or issues as they arise.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals, sharing knowledge and supporting effective teamwork.
Building credibility and respect quickly, establishing strong and positive working relationships with staff and managers.
Working safety and in compliance with all health & safety, quality and environmental standards and expectations.
What We’re Looking For| Ā Mātou e Rapu Ana:
Experience working in carpentry/handyman maintenance team.
Valid Full Driver’s License (clean)
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience working in carpentry/handyman maintenance team.
Demonstrated commitment to HSE and quality standards.
Alignment with Citycare Property values.
The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and ******* test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements
