Carpenter - Repair and Maintenance Specialist

Job Details
• The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to carpentry, including calculating material quantities, selecting stock and tools, and repairing hospital buildings.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with power tools such as planers, sanders, saws, and drills, as well as hand tools like planes, chisels, hammers, rasps, and saws.
• A strong understanding of blueprints and specifications is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cutting and installing materials such as sheetrock, linoleum, vinyl, and asphalt tile.
• Repairing partitions, doors, windows, floors, furniture, and building frameworks made of wood or metal.
• Measuring and marking dimensions using rulers, tape measures, calipers, compasses, and marking pencils.

Additional Tasks:
• Installing Formica as required.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:
• Prior experience in carpentry or a related field.
