Carpenter Role at Christchurch Hospital
The Maintenance and Engineering Department at Christchurch Hospital seeks a Carpenter to join their team. This is a permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week.

About the Role
This role involves maintaining, repairing, and monitoring technology, systems, and buildings that keep our hospitals running. You will be responsible for:

Maintenance and repairs of systems across Health NZ Canterbury sites
Regular inspection of the joinery and infrastructure
Assisting other trade staff on maintenance and engineering related work
Reporting faulty or requiring maintenance plant or equipment
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Trade Certificate
Experience in building statutory requirements
Exposure to and understanding of the New Zealand Building Code
Ability to work independently and within a team
Flexible, adaptable, and resilience skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Working for Health New Zealand
