Position Overview
We are looking for a smart, logical, and technically minded Career Expert to guide students interested in Interior Design. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of spatial organisation and an ability to understand the technical aspects of design education. In this role, you will help students and parents clearly understand the academic, technical, and career opportunities within the interior design industry.
You will play an important role in turning a parent’s hesitation into confidence by explaining the professional, technical, and financial value of pursuing a structured interior design degree. The role requires the ability to communicate concepts in a simple and reassuring manner so that families feel comfortable and confident about the career path.
Key Responsibilities
Department Specialist: Drive the Interior Design department's growth while effectively representing our Fashion, Communication, and Innovation wings.
Technical Simplification: Explain complex terms like "Floor Plans," "AutoCAD," and "Spatial Planning" in simple and easy-to-understand language to students and their parents, including those from vernacular backgrounds.
Industry Logic: Use facts and data to prove that Interior Design is a stable, high-paying career similar to Architecture or Engineering.
Community Outreach: Connect with schools and local communities to identify students with a logical and creative mindset.
What We’re Looking For
Logical Reasoning: Ability to explain the "math and science" of design to convince sceptical parents.
Local Language Mastery: Ability to connect deeply with students from vernacular media and make them feel welcome.
Technical Curiosity: A genuine interest in how homes and offices are designed, furnished, and made functional.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field. A background in Civil, Architecture, or Interior Design is a huge advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
