We are in search of a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinetry & Millwork Designer/CNC operator to join our team. As a Custom Cabinetry & Millwork Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into precision-cut cabinetry and millwork pieces. Your expertise in creating cut-lists (g-code) through Mozaik, managing materials with the procurement lead, and collaborating with the Production Manager will be essential in ensuring the seamless execution of our projects. This is an opportunity to contribute your technical prowess to the creation of exquisite custom cabinetry and millwork.
Responsibilities
Transfer AutoCAD drawings to Mozaik for CNC production
Generate accurate custom and semi-custom cabinetry cut-lists and punch-lists based on design specifications, facilitating the efficient production process.
Create cut-lists for various millwork elements, stretchers, runners, and bodies, ensuring that dimensions and quantities align with project requirements - this will be generated through MOZAIK.
Collaborate closely with the production manager and designers to coordinate and streamline the production workflow, communicating cut-lists and punch-lists effectively.
Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail to guarantee the precision of all cut-lists and millwork elements.
Collaborate with design and production teams to address any technical challenges and offer insights to enhance the feasibility of design concepts.
Send G code and maintain CNC
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Proficient in Mozaik CNC Software
Experience in the millwork/cabinetry sector
Proven experience in creating custom cabinetry and millwork cut-lists, with a deep understanding of design plans and construction techniques.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for generating accurate cut-lists and managing project materials.
Ability to work collaboratively with the production manager, production teams, and draftsman to ensure successful project outcomes.
