Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Articles role based in Kolkata. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, and supporting the documentation of audit findings. Daily tasks include maintaining accounting records, helping with the preparation and review of financial statements, and supporting GST, income tax, and other compliance filings. The CA Article trainee will also conduct basic research on tax and regulatory issues, assist in preparing reports and presentations for clients, and coordinate with senior team members to ensure timely completion of engagements. The position offers practical exposure aligned with Chartered Accountancy training requirements and opportunities to build strong technical and professional skills.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (registered with ICAI) and eligible for articleship training.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic auditing concepts.
• Interest in taxation, including direct and indirect tax compliance, and willingness to learn relevant regulations.
• Comfort with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work with accounting or ERP software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation and client-ready reporting.
• Ability to work in a structured environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate with team members on-site.
• Professional attitude, integrity, and willingness to learn from feedback and handle responsibility.
• Prior internship or practical exposure in accounting or audit (if any) will be an added advantage.
