Job Description Requirements

We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:

A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
A major in Business Education, and a strong scholastic/academic background.
Demonstrated ability to instruct Business Education at the high school level.
Demonstrated ability and experience in the differentiation of instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Experience with provincial curriculum and programming in career programming and community work experiences.
Experience in establishing and monitoring work experience placements in the community.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

Previous successful high school teaching experience.
Demonstrated ability and experience with English as an Additional Language learners.
Experience with "E” sheltered content area programming.
Knowledge and understanding of teaching literacy through the curriculum.
Knowledge, skills and ability to infuse technology into the curriculum.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in implementing a quality program.
