Our client is a global funds management business, with investment products across a range of equity classes, and offers investors a track record of unbroken profitability. They have experienced significant growth in recent years, and are now looking grow their advisor channel and want to bring in a motivated Business Development Manager to help do this.
Their unique business structure allows you to work to the best of your ability, tapping into existing networks and ones the business already has. The role requires the attitude of a sales focused individual, but the relationship skills of someone who can also see the bigger picture and knows when not to push.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, successful sales professional who can leverage their existing advisor network to drive strategic partnerships and generate end to end deals. You will have an experienced sales team around you who are there to help you settle into the business and be successful.
Responsibilities
Leverage your extensive retail (advisor) network to foster growth and proactively cultivate new clients
Research, identify and build long-term strategic sales execution plans, owning the sales opportunity end-to-end
Exceed sales pipeline targets through strategic partnerships

Collaborate with the internal team to achieve the best results for their customers
Qualifications
A well-established footprint as a business development manager with experience in funds/ wealth management
University Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business or Accounting (or other related field of study).
Established networks with advisors and advisory groups
Professional and confident communicator with an ability to present relevant solutions to meet the prospective clients needs
Proven experience developing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed new business targets
Experience managing the entire sales life cycle, from identifying opportunities, building sales strategy and nurturing client relationships with senior / C-suite level stakeholders
