Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development professional to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base across the Dahej to Umbergaon region. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B sales within the courier, freight, cargo, logistics, air freight, or sea freight industry and possess a thorough understanding of the end-to-end movement of shipments.
This role requires extensive field travel, client acquisition, relationship management, and achievement of business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and acquire new corporate customers for courier and freight services.
Generate business opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across various industries.
Understand customer logistics requirements and propose appropriate courier, air freight, sea freight, and cargo solutions.
Conduct sales presentations, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
Prepare and maintain sales pipelines, customer visit reports, and business forecasts.
Desired Candidate ProfileMandatory Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
B2B Courier Sales
Freight Forwarding Sales
Cargo Sales
Air Freight
Sea Freight
Logistics Solutions Sales
Strong understanding of the end-to-end courier and freight movement process.
Proven experience in a client-facing sales role. Candidates with predominantly backend, operations, or support experience will not be suitable.
Willingness to travel extensively across Dahej, Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Vapi, Silvassa, and Umbergaon.
Must own a vehicle (minimum two-wheeler) for local travel.
Experience in handling corporate and industrial clients.
Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience in corporate/B2B selling.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Fluent in Gujarati. English fluency is not mandatory.
Confident personality with the ability to engage new prospects and convert opportunities into business.
Self-motivated, persistent, and commercially focused.
Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience and current compensation.

Salary :25k Plus Incentives

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
