Looking for a role that fits around the school run?
Manning's Tutors is looking for an organised, reliable and proactive Business Support Assistant.
This is an office-based role supporting the day-to-day running of our growing education business. Every day is a little different, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised and is happy to roll up their sleeves to help wherever needed.
The role would suit someone with previous administration experience who is looking for flexible, part-time work during school hours.
Hours
3 hours per day
4 days per week
Term time only
Office based
Working hours to be agreed (designed to fit around school hours where possible)
Additional hours may occasionally be available by mutual agreement
Pay
£16-£18 per hour
What you'll be doing
You'll support the business with a range of administrative tasks, which may include:
General office administration
Updating databases and spreadsheets
Preparing documents and reports
Supporting the onboarding of tutors
Communicating with schools, parents and tutors by email and telephone
Filing and maintaining accurate records
Helping keep business systems organised
Providing general support to the management team
No two days are exactly the same, so you'll need to be comfortable turning your hand to different tasks.
We're looking for someone who:
Is highly organised and enjoys keeping things in order
Has excellent written and spoken English
Is confident using Google Workspace, particularly Sheets and online systems
Has good attention to detail
Can work independently and use their initiative
Is friendly, professional and dependable
Values confidentiality and handles sensitive information appropriately
Previous administration experience is desirable, although attitude, organisation and reliability are just as important.
