Role Description
This is a contract remote role for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and monitoring accounts receivable, processing invoices, and resolving payment discrepancies. They will also communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Fluency in German
• Accounts Receivable customer service for internal and external customers
• Perform collection calls (approx. 50-100) and address customer emails and phone requests as required. (main activity)
• Research and identify account discrepancies.
• Send invoices, monthly statements and perform month-end processing.
• Participate in AR aging and collection reviews with management.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in collections.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus
