About Boggo's
Boggo's is India's first dog food brand built on Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) — a sustainable, high-protein ingredient that's transforming pet nutrition globally. We're a growing D2C brand currently selling on Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho, backed by Keetup — a BSFL biotech company with production facilities in Maharashtra and Haryana.
We're a scrappy, founder-led team. We move fast, we test ideas, and we're building something genuinely differentiated in the Indian pet food market. If you're the kind of person who gets excited about building a brand from the ground up — this role is for you.
The Role
You will be the first dedicated marketing hire for Boggo's. This is a builder role — not a manager role. You'll own the brand end-to-end: from what Boggo's sounds like on Instagram to how we bring back a customer who bought once and hasn't returned.
You will report directly to the founder and work alongside a freelance performance marketer and an in-house graphic designer. Your job is to connect these dots, give the brand a clear direction, and drive growth.
What You'll Own
Define and own Boggo's brand voice, positioning, and content strategy across Instagram, Meta, and WhatsApp
Brief and manage the performance marketer on campaign direction, targeting, and creative strategy — so the founder doesn't have to
Plan and drive organic social — reels, carousels, dog stories, UGC — with a clear content calendar
Build and run email and WhatsApp retention flows — post-purchase sequences, re-engagement campaigns, subscription nudges
Brief the in-house designer on creatives aligned to brand tone and campaign goals
Own Boggo's Amazon and Flipkart listing content — A+ pages, product descriptions, imagery briefs
Track weekly metrics — ROAS, CAC, repeat rate, follower growth — and report directly to the founder with clear insights
Identify and coordinate with pet micro-influencers and dog parent communities for organic brand building
What We're Looking For
2–4 years of experience at a D2C brand — pet, food, FMCG, or lifestyle preferred
Hands-on with Meta Ads Manager — you understand what makes an ad work, even if you're not running it yourself
Has set up or managed email/WhatsApp marketing flows before (Klaviyo, Mailmodo, or similar)
Strong instinct for content — you can tell a good reel idea from a bad one, and you know what resonates with Indian dog parents
Comfortable with numbers — you track what you do and can explain why something worked or didn't
Has worked in a small team or startup — you don't wait for briefs, you write them
Agency background alone won't work here — we need someone who has owned outcomes, not just deliverables
