About us
Progressive Group is a real estate investment, development, and construction company operating throughout Greater Vancouver for over 15 years. We manage a portfolio of active development and construction projects across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain financial records and perform bank and account reconciliations
Post journal entries, prepare trial balances, and maintain general ledgers
Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing and payments
Prepare internal financial reports for multiple entities
Reconcile project accounting with other company accountants
Complete and submit GST/PST tax filings and remittance forms
Organize and maintain financial and administrative filing systems
Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping for active real estate development and construction projects
Qualifications & Skills
1 to 2 years of bookkeeping experience
Experience with Canadian bookkeeping practices, including GST/PST filings and CRA remittances; BC-based experience an asset
Real estate, construction, or development bookkeeping exposure is an asset, not required
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Excel
High attention to detail and comfort managing multiple entities
Good organizational and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
