Full job description
Robert Rubino Trucking Ltd is in search of a fulltime BOOKKEEPER. The applicant for this position should be a highly self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recording and maintaining all business’ financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, billing invoices, and payments. They will record financial data into general ledgers, which are used to produce the balance sheet and income statement that will require regular reporting to management.

Bookkeeper Job Description

Being consistent, accurate, and minimizing errors are key characteristics we are seeking for this position. It is indispensable and mandatory to have a knowledge of accounting and to understand in detail how to use SAGE 50 accounting software systems.

Bookkeeper is responsible for recording, reconciling & tracking financial & hauling transactions and for this reason, technology literacy is incredibly valuable for this role. Use of Excel and Word are also extremely necessary. A few other relevant skills and job duties would include the following:

Mandatory Hiring requirements

Resume with relevant 2-year experience
Proof of education
References required in regards to the role
Fluent in English required - for reading, writing and communications
Police report - Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check
Relevant Skills and Knowledge

Exceptional computer skills are mandatory
SAGE accounting knowledge
Understanding accounting best practices
Knowledge of government, employee and business tax regulations
Data entry skills
High attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & word
Produce work with a high level of accuracy
Works efficiently under pressure of constant deadlines
Professionalism and organization skills
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
Update and maintain the general ledger
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
Recording of debits and credits
Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
Monitor any variances from the projected budget and report discrepancies

Salary NEGOTIABLE based on relevant proof of experience
