ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NP Digital is a fast-growing, multi-national, digital marketing agency with multiple business units in the US and 20+ subsidiaries world-wide. We are looking for a motivated, experienced and detail-oriented billing specialist to manage billing, cash receipts and collections. This is a 100% remote position, where you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely billing across our 3 different US business units.
This position is part of our US accounting team and reports to our Revenue Accounting Manager. We are looking for an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders across different time zones.
This role is available due to an internal transition, offering a great opportunity for a new team member to join and make an impact. To be considered, candidates must reside and be eligible to work in the United States and will be working within the Central or Mountain time zone.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately enter and process sales orders and issue invoices in a timely manner
Diligently follow sales orders through to completion, working with appropriate parties to quickly resolve issues that delay timely processing
Ability to handle a high level of volume and manage multiple inboxes, ensuring timely response to clients
Ensure that invoices are aligned with client contracts and the various internal entity pricing structures
Must be familiar with Revenue Recognition principles
Process contracts change orders
Apply client payments to open invoices and record daily deposits
Apply client credit memos to open invoices
Act as the primary point of contact for client billing inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of disputes or issues related to invoices and payments
Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and assist with collection efforts in collaboration with the accounting team and with business leaders
Prepare and present AR aging reports to senior management, providing insights on collection efforts, outstanding payments, and suggesting recommendations for account status
Participate in the month end close process, including account reconciliation
Possess the flexibility necessary to multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced technical environment
Other accounting duties as assigned
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience in a multi-entity organization, professional services experience is ideal
Experience with NetSuite (preferred) or other cloud based mid-market accounting platform, Salesforce and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly experience with Excel
Excellent communication and time management skills with ability to consistently meet goals and deadlines with little direct oversight
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to troubleshoot billing issues and resolve discrepancies
Ability to manage multiple priorities, process a high volume of transactions and meet deadlines, while maintaining high quality work
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proven self-starter who can work effectively and efficiently in a remote work environment

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION
Base Salary: USD $55,000.00 to $60,000.00; depending on experience and skills
Discretionary annual bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary
