Beverage Specialist – The Plains Taproom
The Plains Taproom is looking for a reliable and energetic Beverage Specialist to help create a great guest experience while managing day to day front of house beverage operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, sports, craft beer, and working in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage beverage keg inventory
Log keg deliveries into the computer
Manage inventory pricing in the computer system
Replace empty kegs with full ones
Follow opening checklist to prepare dining room for guests
Greet guests and explain our self pour taproom concept
Become familiar with different types of beer and guide guests in making selections
Take food orders and deliver food to guest tables
Clean and reset tables after guests leave
Manage 16 TVs to ensure important sporting events are displayed
Answer phone calls for reservations and gather basic catering information
Communicate with BOH manager regarding FOH supply ordering
Follow closing checklist to properly shut down the restaurant each night
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Basic computer skills
Team oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed
Ability to lift and move kegs when necessary
Interest in beer knowledge and hospitality preferred
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
