Role Overview
The Khatak is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to spearhead our revenue growth. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, managing advertising sales, and enhancing our brand presence across Jaipur and the broader Rajasthan market. The ideal candidate understands the digital media landscape, possesses strong local networking skills, and can translate content engagement into measurable revenue.
Key Responsibilities
• Revenue Generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive advertising revenue from local businesses, regional brands, and government/private sector campaigns.
• Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and pitch to potential advertisers, sponsors, and corporate partners.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, PR agencies, and business owners in Jaipur.
• Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to create innovative, value-driven advertising packages (e.g., branded content, video sponsorships, social media takeovers).
• Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on the digital news landscape in Rajasthan, tracking competitor activity and identifying emerging trends to keep The Khatak ahead.
• Campaign Management: Ensure high-quality execution of ad campaigns, from pitch to delivery and reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in media sales, digital marketing, or business development (prior experience in news channels or digital media is a plus).
• Network: Strong existing network within the Jaipur business community.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Digital Proficiency: Understanding of digital marketing metrics (CPM, CPC, CTR), social media algorithms, and content-led advertising.
• Sales Mindset: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
