• Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to customers
- Create espresso-based drinks and brew coffee according to recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring accuracy
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain a tidy cash register
- Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, and syrups, as needed
- Operate coffee machines and equipment efficiently and safely
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the cafe by engaging with customers and addressing their needs
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso drinks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new coffee trends and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
