This is a bank/zero-hours contract with no guaranteed hours or fixed package initially. Shifts will be offered on an ad-hoc basis—sometimes booked weeks in advance, other times offered at short notice. Over time, as you become familiar with clients and demonstrate your reliability and skills, you'll be offered more frequent and consistent work, and will be prioritised for new client packages in your area.
What You’ll Need Experience In (One or More):
Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI)
Spinal Cord Injuries
Cerebral Palsy
PEG feeding or similar enteral feeding methods
Tracheostomy care
Non-invasive ventilation (e.g. BiPAP/CPAP)
Medication administration
Oral and/or deep suctioning
Nebuliser use
The Ideal Candidate Will:
✅ Be reliable and flexible – consistency is crucial due to the specialised needs of each client
✅ Have previous experience in complex care settings
✅ Be comfortable working autonomously in home-based care
✅ Be a driver with access to a vehicle, or able to travel easily between clients
✅ Have strong communication and observational skills
✅ Hold valid training or be willing to refresh training for clinical tasks (we can assist with this)
