Job Description
Pepper Content is building a global content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories. Over the past 5 years, over 100,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and majority of the startup ecosystem.
We are building a global SaaS-enabled marketplace for fast-growth SMB, mid-market and enterprise customers that helps marketers manage all their activities ranging from content creation to workflow management and content distribution. To fuel all this, we have some exciting plans, and we are looking for someone in the capacity of a Backend Developer to join our engineering team and build upon these ideas.
At Pepper Content you’ll be:
Build the backend for our marketplace tech stack
Develop and maintain the backend code in Nodejs/Typescript
Work alongside Product team to understand the ever increasing scale of operations
Troubleshoot and resolve existing bugs or issues
You should apply if you have:
1-2 years of experience in backend development in Nodejs
Must have worked on MySQL, Javascript, Nodejs, Typescript
Good understanding about Nodejs internals, async code and express.js framework
Hands on experience with Redis, REST APIs and API security
Have worked on production systems
Worked on deploying and monitoring services on AWS
Experience in implementing complex business logic with multiple internal services
Close attention to the impact of the code
Ability to collaborate with the FE teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
