Responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned backend engineer to build, manage, and scale our server infrastructure for our connected TV products. Ideal candidates will have skills listed below:
• Lead backend architecture initiatives from inception to completion
• Compile and analyze data processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Building and integrating information systems to meet the company’s needs.
• Designing and building data models for relational and non-relational databases
• Writing effective and scalable Python codes
• Creating servers and databases for functionality
• Design and construction of our REST APIs
• Create and document architecture designs and decisions
• Developing frontend website architecture
• Resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Designing and implementing robust applications
• Debugging applications to ensure low-latency and high-availability
• Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic

Qualifications
• You have prior 3+ years of experience as a backend software developer
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
• Strong experience working on database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, RDS
• Proficiency with server-side languages such has python
• Good knowledge Django, Flask or similar Python frameworks
• Prior experience working with AWS cloud computing: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, cloud formation, cloud watch will be bonus
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, bootstrap, and CSS3
• Familiarity with various testing tools.
• Key Technical Skills: Python, System Architecture, Data Modeling, AWS Serverless, MySQL, MongoDB, ETL, REST API, JavaScript
