Azure & AD Specialist (m/f/d) – 100% Remote

Your daily tasks:

Azure Cloud Services:
• Azure Infrastructure Management: Implement, configure, and maintain Azure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) environments.
• Azure Identity Management: Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), manage identities, roles, and policies, and integrate with on-premises AD.
• Virtual Networking: Design and manage virtual networks, subnets, and VPN configurations to ensure secure connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud.
• Azure Governance and Security: Set up policies, tagging, and compliance controls using Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and Azure Blueprints.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other tools to ensure optimal performance and quick resolution of issues.
• Automation: Implement automation using Azure PowerShell, ARM Templates, and Azure CLI to streamline deployments and configurations.

Active Directory:
• Active Directory Management: Maintain and troubleshoot on-premises AD, including domain controllers, replication, and group policy management.
• AD Health Checks: Perform regular health checks on Active Directory to ensure its integrity and performance.
• Hybrid Identity Solutions: Design and manage hybrid identity solutions using Azure AD Connect, ensuring seamless synchronization between on-premises and cloud identities.
• Access and Security: Implement best practices for user and group management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• AD Disaster Recovery: Develop and test disaster recovery plans for Active Directory, including backups, restores, and failovers.

What we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in managing and administering Active Directory and Azure cloud environments.
• Languages with Azure AD Connect, Azure AD Conditional Access, Azure MFA, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Strong background in managing hybrid cloud environments (on-premises and Azure integration).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and VPNs as it relates to Azure connectivity.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services, including VMs, storage accounts, and Azure Virtual Networks.
