AWS Redshift Database Specialist

Database Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to maintain and optimize AWS Redshift databases. The ideal candidate will have experience in database administration, performance tuning, and security.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and optimize AWS Redshift databases for high performance and availability.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to automate database tasks.
• Provide technical support for all database environments, including development, pre-production, and production databases.
• Mentor and train junior engineers on database administration best practices.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of database security, data migration, backup, and recovery. Experience with cloud-based systems like AWS and Azure is also required.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in DBA activities.
• Experience in Python scripting and RLS policies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and performance tuning.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
